Alyssa comes to the floral world with a diverse design background including fashion and graphic design in NYC and furniture and interiors here in Baltimore.
She loves to play with texture and negative space as well as include unexpected non-flower botanical elements. She uses her background to think outside of the vase to design the whole experience. She manipulates wood, clay and objects as well as botanicals to style a vibe that can go from table top to store window or an entire event.
She collaborates with Sarah to help select unusual varieties of heirloom flowers and foliage to grow at @TilledFarm and hand crafts the fresh bouquets for individuals and restaurants when seasonally available.
Her work can be seen in Baltimore Magazine, Bmore Art, Baltimore Sun and Baltimore Weddings. Her dry floral installs and bouquets can be seen at Whitehall Mill, Garnish Boutique and in the homes of many who have frequented The Greenhouse at Good Neighbor which she co-founded.
She is now booking 2022 and 2023 events and custom work. Pre-made dry bouquets are always available through Good Neighbor and The Greenhouse at Good Neighbor plus other fine local retailers such as Home Body General.
